Winter solstice has great symbolism, and has throughout history. Embodied in this day are themes of renewal, new beginnings, and inner strength and growth. For some, it is a time to set intentions.  You will hear these themes, and the idea of light in the pieces we have written.  And they all relate to the UU theme for the month, “choosing hope.”  We hope our words will nourish you as you move through this day of the Winter Solstice.
