Annual Meeting Announcement

Annual Meeting 
Sunday, May 19, at 9:45 
Lewis Hall.

Business which will come before the members:

Election of board members and officers. The nominating committee will present a slate of nominated officers and members at-large.

Three of the current board members – Kim Kambak (President), Ann Lewis (Vice President) and Mary Demange (at-large) are completing one year terms 6/30/24

Review, possible revision, and voting on the budget for 2024-2025.
Discussion and voting on several bylaw revisions.

The board discussed and approved presenting the following bylaws revisions to the congregation for discussion and vote by the members:

  • Membership – clarify definition of inactive membership

  • Governance – add the election of nominating committee to mandatory business

  • Nominating Committee – clarify term

  • Election of board members – require that terms be staggered. Allow board members who serve a partial term of up to 1 year to serve two additional one year terms

  • Election of officers – allow current board members and officers to be elected to open officer positions. Officer term is two years or until the end of the current term (if shorter).

  • Committee on Ministry – redefine purpose of committee

If you are unable to attend you may name a proxy. Each member may hold only one proxy, so be sure the person you name is not holding another proxy.

You may attend on Zoom, but due to our sometimes unreliable connection, please name a proxy to act for you if the connection is not adequate.

Lunch will be provided at Lewis Hall at the conclusion of the meeting.
