Greetings! Your board asked that I share my summer schedule with you.

• I will be on vacation for the month of July, some of that time on silent retreat, so I will not be checking my VIUU email regularly between July 1 and July 30th. If you have a pastoral care need in July (medical, emotional, grief or loss) please reach out to your pastoral care team. They are wonderful, as you know.

• The first two weeks of August, until the 14th, I will be available for VIUU, including attending the summer board retreat and attending the Canoe Journey at Nisqually (with, I hope, some of you). If you want to join me at Nisqually any day between July 31st and August 4th, email me at , or text me at my number in your membership directory. If you have a pastoral care need during that time and would like to talk with me or let me know, please reach out to me by phone at the same number in your membership directory.

• The second two weeks of August I will be on study leave, preparing for the coming church year, and less available by email and phone. If you have a pastoral care need, please reach out to your pastoral care team during that time.

• By the beginning of September I am back on board with VIUU completely, and will see you the week of September 12/13! My first Sunday with you, and your first Sunday of the fall, will be September 13th, a celebration of coming back together and a “Water Is Life” service.
