UU Camps for Middle and High Schooler Campers

Do you have youth in your life? Camp is one of the most meaningful ways that youth UUs connect and learn about their faith.

In the beauty of the great outdoors, youth build community and deepen their connection to Unitarian Universalism through worship, workshops, justice work and plenty of good ol’ fashioned camp fun.

Pacific Western Region Camps are open to all middle and high school youth (current 5th graders through class of 2023) with age specific cabins and programming. Reserve their spot now with a deposit you can afford (sliding scale) and customize your payment plan to fit your budget.

Camp Blue Boat: Week-long, residential camp in the Pacific Northwest. July 16-21, 2023 Ellensburg, WA.

Camp Blue Boat is the PWR UU summer camp immersion experience for rising 6th-grade youth to 12th-grade graduates from Washington, Oregon, Idaho & British Columbia with age specific housing and programming. Campers learn about community, spirituality, justice and equality through programs created around our camp theme – Putting Love at the Center: Living Our ValUUes.  They also have the opportunity to spend time in nature, participate in traditional camp activities (yes, there are campfires and s’mores!), make lifelong friends and have tons of fun! Camp Blue Boat is an excellent opportunity for campers from our smaller congregations to make UU youth connections throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Share more with youth and their parents with this presentation.  Your youth can also meet Claire Hunsberger, our Jr. Dean, and  learn what her Top 10 Favorite Things About Camp Blue Boat are by clicking this video. And, here’s the link to Camp  Blue Boat registration
