We Have Two Ears, But Only One Tongue

Attributed to two ancient Greek philosophers, Epictetus and Diogenes, the proverb about having two ears but one mouth/tongue was to remind us to listen more than we speak.

The worship theme for this month is Deep Listening, asking us to consider what it would be like if we took the time to really listen to others, rather than assuming we know everything we need to know about the others. In this time of chaos and uncivil discourse, this lesson may be more important than ever.

Join us as we welcome guest minister, Rev. Mike Walker.
